Sludge Collection & Management
Give the separated solids a controlled route.
Water recycling produces concentrated sludge that must be collected and removed. A dedicated tank or compartment connects clarification with the next solids-handling stage, according to the site arrangement.
Size from the solids load.
Buffer volume and removal frequency depend on solids mass, sludge concentration and working hours. Plant water flow alone does not determine the daily sludge volume.
Match the transfer route to the material.
The arrangement can be assessed for pump transfer, compartment collection or integration with downstream dewatering. Pump type, pipe route and connections depend on sludge characteristics and the available site solution.
Coordinate sludge handling with operation.
Cleaning access, operating levels and removal schedules must match clarification. If sludge collection is unavailable, treatment cannot be assumed to continue independently of that limitation.

Frequently asked questions
Does a sludge tank produce dry sludge?
Collection and storage do not produce a dry cake. A separate dewatering stage must be evaluated.
Is a filter press automatically included in WRS?
No. The technical offer specifies the equipment and exact scope of supply.
